Marikay has honorably served the citizens of Greensboro since she was elected as an At-Large member of the Greensboro City Council in 2011. Marikay is a “full time” City Council member. She is active and in touch with residents in all districts of the city and has done so with respect toward everyone she encounters.
Her in-depth research on each and every item that comes before the City Council is one of the attributes people have lauded her for. Marikay is passionate about making sure that everyone has a voice while she represents their interests.
